Has there been any progress made for the improvement?
not for a while, unfortunately. i put a lot of time into experimenting with the newer glitches last year, but it never quite came together in a TAS route i'm happy with. i have a WIP using the current RTA record route that i could finish up, but i'd only be happy with that if i truly felt i couldn't do any better. either way, it might still be some time before any improvement is finished.

so basically the explanation is the red guy manipulate the location and the coordinates of the game the other girl the faster one simply are affect with the red guy in terms on frames and everything when the red goes up the girl goes up when you have a obstacle basically you switch to the red guy to move other place and then the coordinates are others

Wow, I've been waiting for someone to do an updated TAS of this ever since the Board Glitch was discovered! Awesome run! I also just found out about 2 other glitches yesterday. One of them is triggering Lady Mamiya early so the fireplace opens up. And the other is doing some kind of glitch to open the Inner Sanctuary door at the beginning of the game without needing the gold key. Crazy but exciting stuff lol.
Fascinating! Where did you find out about these glitches? I'm in the process of redoing the TAS from scratch, so there's a good chance I can work these into a new, faster route.

@@StevenQBeatz Uh, that's... weird... I saw it and hearted it but yeah, it's gone. I must have accidentally done something on my end, sorry about that! I've been keeping track of that runner's work, and it's incredible what they've figured out. I've been slowly putting together a proof of concept TAS based on their latest record, guessing it's going to be in the 11-12 minute range, probably a high 10:XX when fully optimized, but I feel like I could come up with a TAS-only route that might push the time down to sub-10.
@@SamsaraTAS Hey! All good, no worries! ❤ Just wanted to make sure you were able to find the speedrun I mentioned. It really is incredible how they figured these new glitches out. Have you figured out how they did the door glitch? I can't seem to replicate it. I think it may have something to do with when the "glitched characters" level up after a battle. That seems to usually cause weird stuff to happen. That "item shuffling" glitch is also amazing. & that's awesome! I'm really looking forward to seeing your updated TAS. I'm always excited to see anything having to do with this game to be honest lol.
